Alright, if you want my thought process behind this, in the first post about the mock war on Equestria Daily they were saying that earth ponies were also the ones who stayed at the back making food for the troops as well as their real roles in the army. Yeah, a bit of a stretch but this idea was too funny in my head to pass up. (Not so great on paper, but oh well)

I loved how the ponies turned out, but I wish I had been able to think of an actual background instead of just generic gradient. >>'
